Cristina Arcila - In The Bay Services

Cristina Arcila

Born and bred in New Jersey USA, I am of Latin American and Hispanic descent. I speak fluent English and Spanish, and terrible travel French and Mandarin!

I've travelled to 20 countries and my two favorites are Colombia and China. Over the years I have worked as a professional PADI Scuba Instructor in Miami Florida, a yacht crew member in Colombia, and as an English language teacher in China.

I've lived in the Byron Shire for nearly 10 years, working in hospitality and restaurant management, and I've been cleaning houses since I was five - my mother was strict, and as tough as it was, her definition of “clean” is still to this day the best I’ve ever seen!

This translates into a meticulous and hard working cleaner in Byron Bay!

Leigh and I have a three-year-old feral, wild, creative, smart (ass), hilarious little boy called MAXimus.

getting started

The first step is to call us for an on-site quote. We know your time is valuable so we won’t take too long. By arranging a time that suits you best, this ensures that we can discuss your expectations and agree on a reasonable time frame that works best for your budget.

For ongoing services, particularly for Airbnb or rental properties, after our initial on-site consultation, we will return for a more in-depth briefing. We will do a full walkthrough of the property with you and create a manual for our team. The details are what matter in our work, so we pay attention!

the trial period

Once we are clear on the scope of work, we provide a trial period for the first few weeks. In this time we get to work and you get a chance to see the results of our labour.

We use this time to perfect a cleaning regimen suited to your property!
